Garments Design & Pattern Making technology is a part of a textile engineering and it deals with the application of scientific and engineering principals to the design & control of all aspects of fibre, textile and apparel processes and machinery. There include natural and man-made materials, designs and cuts of the dresses, safety and health, energy conservation and waste and pollution control. In Bangladesh, there are two important textile sectors such as hand-loom sector and the mechanized sector. Both of them have full growth potential as there are thousands of textiles mills all over the country.
