Program Objective
The Diploma in Civil Engineering at Daffodil Technical Institute (DTI) is designed to equip students with essential skills in planning, designing, and executing structural and infrastructure projects. As one of the most vital branches of modern engineering, civil engineering plays a critical role in shaping society—covering roads, bridges, tunnels, buildings, airports, dams, drainage systems, and more.

Course Duration & Assessment
Total Duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters)
Each Semester: 6 Months
Exam Authority: Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB)
Midterm & Final Exams conducted under BTEB supervision
Central question papers, answer script evaluations, and results
Internal Assessments: Regular class tests, quizzes, and semester-final projects
Certification: Diploma in Civil Engineering from BTEB upon successful completion
Eligibility for Admission
Minimum Qualification: SSC or equivalent (any discipline)
Minimum GPA: 2.00
Special Entry:
HSC (Science): Direct entry to 3rd Semester
HSC (Vocational): Direct entry to 4th Semester
(Minimum GPA: 2.00; Passing Year: 2011 or later)
Admission Process
Admission starts after SSC result publication (usually May-June)
