Program Objective
The Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering at Daffodil Technical Institute (DTI) is designed to prepare students for careers in one of the most fast-paced and essential sectors of the modern world—telecommunications. This program focuses on both analog and digital communication systems, mobile and wireless networks, satellite communication, optical fiber technology, switching systems, and internet technologies.
Students will gain hands-on experience with telecom hardware and software systems, preparing them to work with modern communication infrastructures across various industries.

Course Duration & Assessment
Total Duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters)
Each Semester: 6 Months
Exam Authority: Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB)
Centralized midterm and final exams
Standardized question setting and evaluation by BTEB
Internal Assessment: Lab work, class tests, project-based assignments
Certification: Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering awarded by BTEB upon successful completion
Eligibility for Admission
Minimum Qualification: SSC or equivalent (any group)
Minimum GPA: 2.00
Special Entry:
HSC (Science): Direct entry to 3rd Semester
HSC (Vocational/Technical): Direct entry to 4th Semester
(Minimum GPA: 2.00; Passing Year: 2011 or later)

Admission begins after the SSC result is published (typically May–June)
